We congratulate you on your Philips espresso machine. Learn how to set up your espresso machine and adjust the settings to your liking. After a few simple steps, you can prepare first-class coffee in no time!
All solutions and information videos apply to the entire range of Philips fully automatic coffee machines (Philips 2200, Philips 3200 & Philips 3200 Latte Go series).
Connect the small plug to the connector on the back of the espresso machine and the main plug to a mains socket. Set the main switch to position "I" (if it is on the machine). Press the standby button to turn on the machine.
You can adjust the grinder settings using the control in the bean container (from a fine setting for a strong espresso to a coarse setting for a lighter coffee taste). Place a cup under the coffee spout to adjust the degree of grinding. Press the cup of "espresso". When the grinder is activated, change the setting using the key.
Press and hold the button for the desired setting until the “Memo” icon appears or the button starts to flash. The machine changes to the programming state and starts preparing the selected coffee. Depending on the machine model, you can stop this process by pressing the "OK" key or the key just programmed.
To adjust the coffee strength, press the "Aroma strength" button or turn the dial to one of the bean settings. This varies depending on the machine.
